@Littleham Community Centre, Exmouth

These classes will all be taught in Littleham Community Centre. The space is much bigger than other central locations and so while it’s a little bit further out of town than the ExeDanceArts classes that take place at other times during the week, however, it does come with the benefit of parking and is a lovely big hall.

This class is a more advanced tap class for those over 12 and with some tap experience. We’ll be building on previous knowledge of steps and movements, as well as incorporating some harder rhythms and exercises. Style of music will vary for this class as I challenge the students ideas of what music tap dance can go to. Well fitting tap shoes are advised to get the most out of these classes.

Saturdays

10-11: Juniorย Freestyle
These funky movers are fairly new to Freestyle and as such the classes have a slow but challenging pace. Building from the IDTA freestyle grade syllabus, I also teach the classes challenging routines to current chart music. The style of these classes range from song to song, but take great influence from Disco Freestyle, Contemporary and Commercial dance. Currently the class are working on building up their flexibility and leaps. The class is aimed at children between 8-14, inclusive.
