At this age group many have a lot of energy and just want to be running around. We find it useful to start having longer sessions, giving the students more time to work on technique.
Our classes for this age group are still focused on building skills, rather than creating perfection as we want our young students to be active for life! There are two classes now on offer for this age group, Tiny ‘Dino’ Acro and Stomping Street. Both classes compliment each other well as they work on slightly different areas of dance.
In Tiny ‘Dino’ Acro, you’ll see a lot more emphasis on learning gymnastic moves and increasing range of motion. Whereas Stomping Street is all about moving to the music and learning some super routines to pop music.
Students, in either class, will learn skills such as:
- Listening
- Musicality
- Socialising
- Self-Confidence
- Co-ordination
Classes Available
Thursday – 4.00-4.30 – Tiny ‘Dino’ Acro
Saturday – 10.30-11.15 – Tiny ‘Dino’ Acro
Saturday – 11.15-12.00 – Stomping Street Dance
All these classes are £5 for 45 minutes which is paid by the half term. Trials are available at limited times throughout the year for £10 for two weeks.
