Running in New Places

November 20, 2019November 19, 2019 radancefitness

Fitting in runs when you travel for meeting, events, etc. Can be pretty tough, but it can also be really rewarding. In this blog I go through why I enjoy taking the time out of busy schedules to run, and some practical tips for how you can too.

Traffic Jam Free Commutes?

May 29, 2019 radancefitness

Getting to work can be quite a problem. Whether you live a short drive from your place of work or you're a little further afield, traffic can become a bit of a nightmare at peak times. Within reason though, there's a few ways to help get the most from your body at the same time as avoiding as many traffic jams.

It’s nearly time for some of our dancers to go up on stage at their next competition, which means costumes! Would you rather wear costume A or B? I’ve already got their votes 🤣
Acro 3 had a try at pop cartwheels last week. This is a type of cartwheel where, whilst upside down, you push with your shoulders to lift from the floor before landing on the feet 🤸
Technique! We go on about it all the time in Contemporary and Acro and it’s really just about all the little details that can be applied to most things.
This is the last one! A few fun facts about me that aren’t about the dance school or me as a teacher. Many know I’ve usually got my bike on site so I can get home after work, but here are a few more little bits about me 💚
When you look for a dance teacher you may not look to check what qualifications they have or are working towards. Instead it may just be about what styles they teach and on what days. Personally though I do think it should be a factor in your decision!
We’ve had a few new students join in with our classes this half term (14 trials to be exact) so I thought I’d share a little about me. Instead of just about the students for a change 🙈
First Saturday of term ✅ Everyone has come into term ready to learn and give it their best which is super. I’ve not had a chance to get ANY photos or videos from the week so here’s a little clip of Tiny Dino Acro last half term working on needle kicks/aerial prep. 🙌
Lots of Acro students have moved up this half term so they can work on harder skills a lot more. All those affected would have had cards sent out last half term to confirm. Do check your invoices though as all times are on there too! 💚
It was a great evening yesterday back at classes 🙌
